Heads up half price tools at Halfords

Just thought I would post and say that the 150 piece pro kit is currently half price here

halfords do good quality tools in my opinion. i got a few things from there and they feel really strong...i think they have a long guarentee as well???

I've always been under the impression halfords are crap quality and overpriced, i guess this is only for things like paints, liquids and car parts?

I've only ever had to buy 1 socket from halfords and it did the job.

Initially i thought £100 - but is this a good price?

Its a really good price and the quality of kit is great I have read thats is comparable to snap-on and with a lifetime guarantee you can't complain!

it is a really solid and quality set, i am an idiot, and i drop and bend things all the time, this kit has never let me down...

I get craftsman tools from base half price:D

Not bad price considering I payed the same price for 10 Snap-On spanners!

i rate halfords tools pretty highly i have their sockets, ratchets, normal spanners and rachet spanners. None have let me down so far and i give them some serious stick and use them pretty much every single day.

Someone at my work uses them and said he's used them for years and they've alays been good, also says that there made by another company, can't remember the name now but i've got a feeling it's britool

There the same as many other brands just different badge.

The kit mentioned won best rated in a Bike mag roughly when the kit became available

I have the kit and i Lug it around with me as its compact and easy for doing jobs away. Saves sticking loads of separates in a plastic bag lol
