to fix it you could probably pull it back to the edge of where its sagged, cover it in contact adhesive or maybe spray glue and stick it back up is how most people seem to do it. If you want to remove it im pretty sure you have to take the back windows out as it goes into their recesses take all the trims off the a pillar, b pillar and c pillar, few poppers hold it into the roof i think and around the sunroof

back windows dont need to come out!!!

but it is a total pain in the arse to remove.

make sure you give the surfaces a quick brush before glueing

if it's similar to the mk3 it's just take out all pillars and it comes down, need an extra pair of hands at times

the mk3 was a piss of pi**, remove all pillars trims, grab handles and sun visors, biggest pain in arse was i had a sunroof. my first attempt i used spray adhesive and black suede, turned out aweful. next attempt was contact adhesive (2 tins) and black acoustic carpet. I didnt bother replacing the grab handles, i used expanding foam and filler to get rid of the recess then covered over them. looked sweet
