| Thought I better get a build thread going.. Heres my G40 which used to be a daily but its getting turned into my weekend fun car When I first got it Pictures of its current state Before I started stripping it My guard cat Basically trying to strip any unnecessary weight and make it as light as I possibly can more to follow when I have some progress! | |

everything that weighs something and doesn't need to be there is coming out, the dash will be coming out but a nice cut down version will be going in Next step is buckets and harnesses | |

Full blend charger, toothed belts, GT inlet manifold and chip to match but I shall going down the turbo route I think (maybe G60) It was quick enough when I was driving it, embarrassed quite a few cars when I had it as a daily but definitely want more power for the track - Ashley wrote:

I think I am just going to use those castallets for track use (powdercoated black) I am not really bothered about perspex windows just yet (got subframe/cage and whatever else I need to do first) | |

| Will do, it was serviced at about 10K ago at Pitstop but unfortunately no certificate to prove it but it can be cracked open | |

| Max I hope your joking a extra 100bhp will make a big difference not losing some glass
Just had a look and the whole kit is £170 which isn't as bad as I thought but it will certainly wait

| Get rid of that BRV mod for track use ! it needs oil mist to lube that charger at track speeds PTFE spray is shite for a track car !!!!!!!!! | |

| Bit of a update Dashboard removed, I have a few ideas for what I want to do to the dash but that will wait for the time being got more important things I need to do Apologies for the crap image not surprisingly it was taken with a iPhone FK coilovers next (Well when Henry can be arsed) | |
