Thought I better get a build thread going..

Before I started stripping it

Basically trying to strip any unnecessary weight and make it as light as I possibly can

more to follow when I have some progress!

that looks like it could be a lot of fun.. to what extent are you planning on stripping it down?

everything that weighs something and doesn't need to be there is coming out, the dash will be coming out but a nice cut down version will be going in Wink

Next step is buckets and harnesses

Full blend charger, toothed belts, GT inlet manifold and chip to match but I shall going down the turbo route I think (maybe G60) It was quick enough when I was driving it, embarrassed quite a few cars when I had it as a daily but definitely want more power for the track

I think I am just going to use those castallets for track use (powdercoated black) I am not really bothered about perspex windows just yet (got subframe/cage and whatever else I need to do first)

Max I hope your joking a extra 100bhp will make a big difference not losing some glass

Just had a look and the whole kit is £170 which isn't as bad as I thought but it will certainly wait
