Hello guys. I'm from Oxfordshire but am working in Cambs for the next couple of months. Have a silver mk4 20vt and a mk1 I have just totally restored with a 20vt garret gt28 so good for nearly 300bhp on full boost. Will drive it down when the weather gets a bit better as its scarey. I bumped into someone who was doing a blue mk1 with a g60 engine in it anyone know his name as I have forgotten it but would be keen to find out how its all going etc. Also if anyone wants parts for their mk1, I live just around the corner from Crazy Quiff's mk1 golf emporium and happy to pick things up for people.

Hi there matt hows the mk1 coming along?Mine should be on the road soon ive just got a problem with over fueling so sent ecu of to jabba to have it looked at as im not sure what chip is in it.Anyways would be cool to see your mk1 i allways see u round my way in the mk4.

yes m8 im working tomorrow if you are in the mk1 is almost done just got to put the pasenger front seat in and connect the oil pressure, water temp and boost gauge thens shes ready to roll. I have a video on my phone of the engine running and the turbo spitting so if you are about at 1pm tomorrow i will pop in and show you. Check the hose that goes from your ecu to the manifold make sure it has no splits in it and that is exactly 1metre in length. Also measure the pulley on the supercharger as it is vital that the ecu matches up to the pulley size. Cheers
