Hi, we'd like to invite Fendubbers along to the mk1 golf gathering

Its not just about the mk1 golf, its about all things dub

If Fendubbers would like to have a club stand that would be great, please either reply or pm me for more details

We look forward to seeing you all there

We're proud to announce that the date and venue is now confirmed for the 2009 AGM and Club Show along with prices and advanced booking options for everyone

We hope to see you ALL there to help us celebrate 35yrs of the MK1 Golf

Ticket prices are as follows:

Saturday - £7.50
Sunday - £12.50
Weekend Camping (Friday and Saturday nights) - £20

Please note entrance fees are per car

Club members 20% discount off all entrance fees

There will be a raffle held on the Sunday after the main event with numerous prizes, details to be listed soon, everyone who arrives in a mk1 golf will be given a strip of raffle tickets upon entry and will also have the opportunity to purchase more throughout the weekend.

As this year is a little more special, we would like to welcome along any other Vee Dub clubs to have a club stand within the show, so please pass on the website address to anyone you may see/other forums you visit.

Some properly nice rides on this forum so hopefully a few of them can be tempted down to Coombe Cool

if the club would like a club stand or even club camping then let me know

We have 3 areas for parking at the show..

General parking - mk1 parking (inc shown shine) and club/regional displays

If fendubbers want to have a stand, then ideally I'd like to know numbers so we can allocate you guys with a good space

Dont forget, you dont have to be in a mk1 to love them.. Come and join inthe great atmosphere!!

finally, if fendubbers can get a group booking of 10 or more, then we
can also offer you the 20% discount on entry prices for booking in one
hit - cant say farer than that

Yes mate. Camping weekend is the same fri/sat and sun as your show.

Think its difficult to find a free slot in the calender without clashing with other shows hey.

yeah

things thats annoying, I sent Al a message just after christmas befoe they'd booked anything - saying we got room and they were welcome to have the caddy camping at the show, no charge other than the entrance fee - but he never even bothered replying to the 3 pm's..

Imagine how cool it would have been to have a field full of mk1 golfs and Caddys - that was the plan, but wasnt to be!!

Gutted things dint work out mate as i well into golfs aswell

Not making excuses for AL but i sure he was offline for a while due to him moving house and business.
