| to me mate that seems like a complete strip down of everything and replacing quite a lot as it seems pretty much everything that is there is knackered.
Tbh for a first project i think you need to pick one or the other.
mechanical work or bodywork and get a car to correspond with that. Dont try and get a project that needs a full engine rebuild along with loads of bodywork as well. Its gonna be a steep learning curve but mate do what YOU want, if i listened to all the people that told me not to do something or not to bother i wouldnt be where i am, im all self taught and everything i know ive found out and learned on my own so your in the same boat i was a few years ago. | |

| personally the 150 he wants for it is the tempting thing, i keep forgetting how badly in condition it is lol but ive said im interested and now i feel bad i would rather spend arond 5-600 for one thats standard AND in pretty goood nick, obviously some minor little things will have to be done but to me an engine strip and that.....just doesnt sound tempting at all id be standing in my garage....... and possibly the words "OH SHIT" would gently mutter from my mouth lol | |

| definately get a complete one that is standard mate and in reasonable condition that just needs a bit of tidying up.. Trust me when it comes to this its best to spend that little bit more and buy a good base than spend a few more hours in the garage and a load more money making it as good as a good base car would have been in the first place. | |
