| today the golf started making a really loud wining noise coming form the carb, it really sounds like someone has strapped a charger on it haha sounds good but im guessing its not? | |

| exhaust\intake manifold gasket. Not hard to replace and is cheap.
or so people say lol, but might help, dont no whether it willor not
or
Spray some WD40 around the carb too see if you can make it change. Sounds like a vacuum leak. | |

| may have found the the problem, the gaskit under the carb is fucked, moves around alot and my brother rekons it could be leaking there that abouts 4 quid for a new one so try that. its weird still runs fine though just sounds like its charged haha | |
