Have you got a pic

Do they say girling 54 or Lucas 54 on them

The carriers are longer to accomadate the larger disc so i'am guessing you been conned so get your money back

they say girling 54 on them,

i contacted the guy today he says they 100% came off a corado g60 and is unsure why the disks are small

if the calipers and carriers are right im not to fussed about the disks as ill be getting drilled and groved ones,

but i need to make sure they are right before i attempt to put them on

( also on the back of the caliper there is a therded hole and to locating holes?? is this for some sort of wierd break hose?

In that case, once you've got your adaptors and 280 discs, they should work.

I could pop round and check if need be mate

brilliant thanks mate Smile im wacthing some on ebay at the min and wating on an email back from them to confirm the pads will sit on the disks right with the adaptors Item number: 130665624364 if you wanna check to see if you think there any good, ill have to get some 15" wheels before i can fit them anyway

im pretty good with doing all this sort of work and have always messed around volkswagens but this is the first time of getting in depth with conversions and the 20vt so any help is really appreciated Smile

at the moment it feels like im going 1 step foward and 2 steps back with everything

i put coilovers on a month ago to improve the handling which it has improved masively but now if you are driving at high speeds 80mph + it seems to find invisible bumps in the road and is very harsh i think mainly from the back end , and if you are doing over 110mph its feels like it wants to jump off the road if it hits a bump or a slight dip in the road bash i think it might be because i put cheap ones on but im now just tempted to put uprated srings and shocks rather than coilovers

Yeah there the adaptors. Need a bit of messing with so they clear discs though. I have that type on mine. Some peeps recommend the epytec types but they more expensive.

Damping adjustable coilovers will sort your high speed bumps out bud.

The adaptors sit approx 3mm off the disc so you may need file down the spacers or add the smallest of shims so that the carrier doesn't rub on the disc.

My spacers was slightly out from 1 to the next so I filed them level
