| I like the idea of having my own little project and have a good idea what I would like to do but, as I haven't done anything to this extent before, not sure what to go for. Only had wheels, springs, and roll bars changed before.
Looking to work on a polo/ibiza or lupo/arosa but not sure to go diesel or petrol. Which would be easier to get more power from? Can I add a turbo or is it best to get one with a standard turbo and upgrade? I have found some nice looking ibiza's but if I can't much more out of them then will have to keep looking and narrow my search.
It's not going to be a daily car, got the company Golf for that. It will be a little run a round for a bit of fun.
Any help will be appreciated. | |

| That's true... lol.
Looking up to £2000 max for something "special". But some of the one's I've found so far are 700 - 1000. They don't look bad from the pictures and they are 1.0 to 1.6 petrol. I'm not against diesels as I've had a 2.0 TDi with 180bhp before. Just not sure which would be most flexible/easiest to mod. | |

| no one can answer this question for you.
however if you want power surely the easiest option is to by a 20vt or tdi ibiza and start ftrom there. | |
