Need advise.... Empty
PostSubject: Need advise....   Need advise.... EmptyWed Aug 08 2012, 11:20

I like the idea of having my own little project and have a good idea what I would like to do but, as I haven't done anything to this extent before, not sure what to go for. Only had wheels, springs, and roll bars changed before.

Looking to work on a polo/ibiza or lupo/arosa but not sure to go diesel or petrol. Which would be easier to get more power from? Can I add a turbo or is it best to get one with a standard turbo and upgrade? I have found some nice looking ibiza's but if I can't much more out of them then will have to keep looking and narrow my search.

It's not going to be a daily car, got the company Golf for that. It will be a little run a round for a bit of fun.

Any help will be appreciated.

That's true... lol.

Looking up to £2000 max for something "special". But some of the one's I've found so far are 700 - 1000. They don't look bad from the pictures and they are 1.0 to 1.6 petrol. I'm not against diesels as I've had a 2.0 TDi with 180bhp before. Just not sure which would be most flexible/easiest to mod.

In that case, maybe seat Ibiza/polo pd130. Cheap tax, good mpg and gti whooping performance onced remapped.

Infact, I'll more than likely be selling my tweaked Ibiza 130 soon.

no one can answer this question for you.

however if you want power surely the easiest option is to by a 20vt or tdi ibiza and start ftrom there.
