Cheers for that.
Still shopping around and now not sure which way to jump. Anyone got any advice on good disc/ pad combos? Off to Nurburgring in June so need some decent stopping power!

Sweet, we got 3 mk1's golfs going in may. Your welcome to tag on if you fancy amending your trip

I have fitted dimpled and grooved disc's with black diamond pads(280mm) because i felt a little brake fade last year when i did it using OEM brembo discs and pagid fast road pads(256mm).

Go for pads that state for fast road and disc's with atleast grooves in to dispence heat. You'll see a pic of my stuff in my mk1 build thread

Useful stuff, thanks! Fast road pads seem to be the way to go. I'm convoying over with a B3 Alpina and 2 GSXR's so will have my work cut out!
Stopping in the Nordschleife hotel for a few nights end of June/ early July to pop my cherry.
Let us know you get on in May...
