Hi all, havent been on this in ages..
but have been offered an Mk1 Audi TT 225... and basically have been wondering what people know about them?
faults, things to look for and what they are like?

Usuall things are air mass meters and coil pack problems witch aren't to expensive to replace but important things to check are the 6 speed gearbox witch suffer syncros usually 3rd gear make sure the rear haldex system is working all 4 wheels need to be off ground then drive it all 4 wheels turn its good if just the front 2 bad and also the instrument clusters play up witch is very expensive early sings of this is usually a dodgy fuel gauge but other than that good car shame about the ESP though even when u turn it off it ain't truly off if it was would be much more fun to drive
