Price this one up ???????????

The Chap I rent my barn off ( top secret location ) is wanting to sell his wifes car, and asked me to do the dirty deed. The car isnt available for another month or 2 so this isnt a for sale thread yet..

Spec : Honda Civic type R
O5 reg.
Just under 4k from new ( No really )
Never been out in the rain, and only been out of Cambridgeshire twice.
Not a mark or stone chip on it. You can only say showroom condition.
Serviced every 6 months at a main dealer.

How the hell do I price this ?????

i take it you mean an ep3? its probably worth £9k to £9.5k if its a premier edition, a little less if its not. it all depends if you can find a buyer for an previous shape vehicle or not

Ive never understood the high price for a car thats been sat around most of its life, so i wouldnt pay anymore than the mint condition book price for it.

Have to agree with you matty, If I was after one I would want one with a few more miles under its belt. The main dealer has offered 4k as a trade in on a brand new one, I thought this was a tad on the low side for such a minty mint car.

yeah that sounds low to me, and i have no idea what those ricers are worth That sort of thing would be best off advertised on the owners clubs and honda forums, because theyre more likely to value the mileage/condiiton of it.
