i have never seen one of these so dont know how good they are but seems a cool mod.

Cars like the Aston Martin EDO DBS have this included in the kit.
In normal mode the valve constricts a lot of the sound, and in Sport mode the butterfly valve opens wider to produce the "proper" noise.

Butterfly valves on exhausts have been around for ages.
But I agree, n-the-fly modifiable ones are pretty cool.

pretty standard really on kit cars/hot rods etc

maybe thats why i haven't heard much about them as i dont drive a hotrod or kit car
i have seen alot of modded cars but havent seen one with this fitted,

Itll sound just like a car that hasnt got one fitted when opened, just quieter when closed

my uncle has one of these on a v8 lorry ,its illegal with it open due to noise restriction as it has a stainless straight through

good point lol its just having that option really of making your car loud
or quieter i suppose anyway i still think it would be a cool little mod.

this wouldnt be an opion for me if i had a really flash car i would want people to hear it

its abit poinless on a car thats no loud. but something with a straight through system it would be a good idea i spose.
