ill admit i dont go on the forum that much over the winter mounths but what has happened while ive been gone? why is everyone now driving bmws? when did fendubbers become fenbimmas?

Its alright having a few beemers but at the meet last week it really was fenbemmers. Such a shame as the whole vw scene is getting so much bigger. And we need to keep it going by keeping are vws and not going on to bmws

i couldn't give a monkey's what people turn up in to the meets, i go there to chat with people and go to shows to see cars

The meets are Fendubbers club meets though. By thinking its ok for loads of bimmers to show is also saying its ok for anything else.

So long as it dont get stupid, i'am ok with it as the bimmers that do rock up look sweet but no more i say. Last thing i wanna see is the meets becoming mixed with mates of mates rides all turning up cause they got nothing better else to do.

Yeah i think its fair enough, we are all members and have been for a while. its not like just some random Beemers turning up is it.

To be fair, the people with BMW's did originally have VAG cars.
And they tend to be a significant amount of the people who regularly contribute to this site and the meets.

I enjoy the VW scene and consider myself an enthusiast just as much as anyone on here, regardless of the car I drive.

Quit your whining. There're 4 people who bring BMWs to the meets which are myself, Matty, Chubbs (who's now sold it) and Ant. We're all contributing members to the site and have been on here quite a while.

I am not pleased, but at the same time, I don't really care... The only reason I have my BMW is because all the VW's/Audi's in the same price range were naff to drive and felt wet. I understand that this is a VW based site, so I won't get in the way too mch, but at the same time, you don't have to own a VW to be a fan of what people do to them...
