Squeaky brakes. Empty
PostSubject: Squeaky brakes.   Squeaky brakes. EmptyMon Apr 04 2011, 21:55

'96 6N L.

When pressure is applied to brake pedal there is a rather loud squeek, and when I release the same sound occurs. It did it a while back but stopped after a while, but this time has been doing this for weeks now. Doesn't squeak with handbrake on, or with ignition off. Servo? What can I do?

Thanks.

Glazed discs or pads, or pads have worn right down to metal. Or warped disc maybe. You could try greasing the back of the pads, that might help...
