I tries to take some shots showing them through the windscreen but it was too sunny. Only downside at the moment is there airbag light is on now, even though I've transfered over the seatbelt tensioner and wiring confused

think I'll just keep the old seats tucked away somewhere for when I sell it.

Ah well, was worth a shot!
Think i'll keep my eye out for some tatty Vaders and re-work the leather.

How long did you leave the car after disconnecting the battery?
I think you have to leave it for 30mins+ once you've disconnected the battery before taking the plugs out of the seats. I had the same problem with my old 318is. Once you've transferred it all over and clipped it in, the light doesn't go off. It needs to be reset via a BMW diagnostic device.

I'd just like to confirm that confirmation... anyone more takers?

but yeah, seats look sick as flip mate! you should probably just rip the rear seats out and drop a charger in now. you know, standard stuff haha.

Then you're as stupid as me (I did the same).

However, I wouldn't have had to suffer a side impact seat airbag to the chest.
Whereas you could've. Man, you live life on the edge! Razz

Apparently the seat doesn't have the airbag in, it's in the B pillar. Well so Rossiters told me anyway. But yeah my health and safety training doesn't get used much Razz
