| Hellloooo all . Got Vag com, and the cable! Doesn't work lol. When we test it, it says it's all ok etc. Then go to the next part which is to find codes etc and says the cars arent VWs etc. Tried two golf mk4s and two different laptops(both vista). Could anyone help? If it's easier to use team viewer then no worries. Just want to be able to use vag com. If none of this doesn't make sense I'll write up more detail after work tomorrow Cheers Jamm | |

| It is poss to run a free or cracked copy of vagcom but to get it to work properly you need to buy a genuine lead or at least pay for the licence.
You will have limited use from it if you do manage to get it to work.
Believe me I tried for ages to get it to work properly, I ended up paying for it.

| vag com is linked into the radio circuit so if a new one is wired in wrong it can bugger up the connection. something to do with the K-line iirc. | |
