| changing the suspension over this weekend ive sheared a bolt off in the subframe where you cant get at it.
looks like im gonna be lookin for a new car! | |

| where abouts is the bolt? Might be able to come help you out. Had a similar problem with my mk2, cut a section of the floorpan out to weld a new captive nut in then welded the floor back on. | |

| got the wishbone out today, bolts still in there so cant put other one on... easy-out doesnt work, bolt sheared flush with subframe... anyone got any ideas as im all out... | |

| Drill it out then tap a new hole. Will eat quite a few drill bits though. Or try and tack a smaller bolt on and undo it that way but use loads of wd40 etc. | |

| you could try and get hold of some left handed drill bits. So that as they drill it might bring the bolt out. im not talking about stud extractors here btw there are left handed drill bits about some places if it dont bring it out then the worst its done is drilled a hole for you | |

| it just gets better...
girlfriend got one of her mates to come over and look at the car while i was at work yesterday, and hes snapped one of the easy outs in the bolt... quite why he used a rusty old one i dont know, as i had a brand new one in the same size sat rite near the car. anyhoo i cant get anythin in there to get the bolt out now...
anyone know a good scrapyard i can get a subframe from?
