New Option for a meet a couple of times a year

Was out in Northampton with the VWDRC lot on Saturday and have got talking to a guy called Kevo from Volkszone.

Kevo and a couple of others have got together and purchased an old Little Chef which they have turned into a Diner called "The 8 Ball Diner". It is just off the A12 down in Essex near Witham. They will be officially open in late January but are trying to arrange what nights will be for which theme. They plan to do very much the same as the Ace Cafe in terms of a watercooled night, and an aircooled night with some hot rods thrown in for good measure.

Inside will be chequer board floor, a jukebox, pool table, pinball machines and some good diner style food.

I said that we would be interested in popping down for a meet or two. They have parking for 70 cars and have said that they will be happy if we arrange an day/evening for a meet and include maybe a show and shine.

Who would be interested? I haven't put this in the local meets as i wanted to see what interest we had before going back to them.

this sounds like a great idea, its a decent drive down there too, would be a bloody good day/evening/night once every now and then.
