I hear what your saying about the Motorsport look, but they are generally deep dish or concave wheels so pull it off alot better.

Anyhoo up to you at the end of the day.

Love the one above of the back end of your car mate.
I still really like your car overall and it works really well on the silver wheels, but I still reckon it'd look sweet on a set of splits.

Whip the helpers out, and nab some Porsche dogleg splits.
Paint the centres space grey and polish the dishes and that'll be feature material right there. That'd be soooo sick.
Get on it!

Dude, you should so do this to yours. The white faces and polished lips look so good against the grey.

So, after a few weeks of heavy thinking about what to do next, I have decided that I miss driving about in bigger engined, grown up middle-aged man cars so i've looking at all the various ones that are about and in my price range and what is within my insurance budget. Unfortunately a lot of the cars I want just aren't realistic insurance wise as im still only 24 like M5's, SL55's and RS4's, but I have been talking to a few dealers about a couple of other cars and im hoping to go and test a few this coming weekend and maybe talk money... Im not going to say what they are as i'll be gutted if I get all hyped up about one and then can't get it or something, so watch this space I guess (or wait for another new thread!)

So, as of this morning my little bim bim onezie is sold and my new car is being prepped ready for collection next week.

After a year of "practical" living with a the little 2.0 diesel, I decided I missed the luxuries and comforts of bigger cars, and I also decided I missed petrol engines and poor economy...

After much searching, I found a beaut which was funnily enough from the same dealer I bought my old E-class from.

I should be picking this up around Wednesday/Thursday next week:

My new car - name TBA - Page 11 Pbucket

My new car - name TBA - Page 11 Pbucket

Basic spec is as follows:

2003 Mercedes CL500 - 5.0 V8 - 310bhp
Keyless go, adjustable and auto levelling air suspension, BOSE DVD/Nav, full heated black leather, tinted double glazed windows, electric rear blind, parking sensors all round (probably for the best, with it being 5m long) full hand stitched leather and wood dash (including wooden steering wheel) and about a million other options to boot.

When going through the paperwork, we found the original receipt for the car at 98,500 - needless to say, i paid ALOT less than that 8 years down the line!

Its not too quick off the mark (but not back for a nearly 2 tonne car) but its the mid range where it eats up the road - we took it from 40 to "a speed" (*cough* 130 *cough*) and it just kept on going, no sign of any struggle or anything like that, and with the air suspension and double glazing, it was dead quiet and smooth!

Big drilled brakes were reassuringly good too!

I cant wait to pick this up now and go on a long motorway blast!
