| My sunny afternoon at iKustoms didn't quite go to plan with regards to mapping the 1st - thanks to BMW being mentally tight with their newer cars! Turns out that all cars after september 2009 have a ridiculous 'anti-tuning' thing in them which basically meant I couldn't get the car mapped there and then and I'd have to fork out double the money and spend the better part of a day having it done. On the plus side the weather was sweet and I quite enjoyed the drive and I now have some spare moneys to buy other new bits with! | |

| Sorry about today dude :(
Manufacturers suck for doing that :( but I suppose the only way for them to find that software is go look at the car

| It's ok dude, bit of a bummer but still enjoyed a day out and there was some nice metal there too!
Hopefully I'll get something a bit different next time and pre-rubbish batty anti-tuning!

| Literally nothing to update on the car itself, but a rep of mine came over to our office today and we got chatting about cars and to cut a long story short, he is expecting a child but currently drives a '56' 3.0 Z4 m-sport coupe... talk of swapping came up and we're going to have a think about it! I do love them, and I actually like them in silver too... | |

Aren't they around 260bhp? Either way I think you should do it. There's a point (I reckon about 6 years time) where owning a big engined car will be financial suicide. This may be your final chance to have something that's a monster on fuel.

| Yeah man, they are absolute pocket rockets! Im seriously thinking about it, we just need to both think about it, plus i need to get the old suspension refitted etc...
I think i'd just make sacrifices else where if I was in the position to buy another big engined car! F*ck a diesel bentley haha

Although i think an e90 would suit you more, decked obviously yeah, the book says 33 so probably about 29-30! I've been offered an upgrade on a 335d coupe with full M-tech and all the toys, but it's quite alot more money and the z4 is a straight swap!

| My dad has a 3.0 z4, it's proper rapid and he reckons it's ok on fuel if he's sensible, but with a sound like they have it's very hard to do that. I say do it | |

| not really much to update, just doing a few little things to make me like it a bit mroe before I think about chopping it in on my return from Tunisia next month. I need to sort out some kind of spacing at the back and some new grills have arrived today ready to be painted - hopefully the wheels will be painted by DC11 too! | |

| Last night I decided to paint up some spare grills I had: Wheels will get the same treatment hopefully starting this weekend so it will look a bit moodier at DC11. Fingers crossed I get time to do it and it doesn't look gash... | |

| normally i'd agree with you there (well, sometimes) but these aren't going to be gloss, they'll be satin with a lip - should look a bit like this (apart from it not being an M3 haha) | |

| I think satin black grills will look good. Not too obtrusive either. I'm not a fan of gloss black unless it is on gloss/metallic black in the first place. And if you want to go the black route on the wheels, satin black faces with a scotched lip to give a brushed metal effect would be sick. They should look something like the ones posted above. I think that sounds like a good idea.
It'll give it a nice Motorsport/aggressive feel to it, especially when you pick up the M kit! Go for it dude, you can always change it back! No harm in trying!
