| just got a mk2 golf with twin carbs. it runs ok and is nippy but after a friend looked at it he said it should have a facet red top fuel pump and filter king regulator or sumit like that to make it better.its just usein the pump in the tank i was told ??? ive never had carbs b4 so dont know alot about them.do i need any thing like that ? heres a pic of the engine bay now. | |

| defo put a dirrerent pump on it facet red tops are good mount it near the tank and get a filter king as its a fuel pressure regulator and a filter in one i had a facet red top pump on my 2ltr 16v on twin webber 45s with cams it made 196bhp | |

| bloke called peter baldwin at wimpole garage set mine up all the time he knows his stuff to do with carbs also wot gaskits does your set up have between the carbs and the manifold ? | |

| oh no them engines which weber carbs really are no good, i would suggest you take it out and fit something else.
Suppose i could dispose the engine free of charge for you lol. | |

i had a facet red top pump on my 2ltr 16v on twin webber 45s with cams it made 196bhp were did u mount ur facet red top pump ? | |
