anyone got any ideas how to get some coilees to un seize?

i just cant turn the plates

ive tried hitting the c spanner with a hammer.

i was thinking of getting 2 c spanners and turning them in opposite directions.

or heating it up with a blow torch

any help will be appreciated because i wanna raise the back up for a killer stance

go easy on the heat whatever they are, cos they only aluminum, heat all around the adjuster plates gently and evenly till they are hot. keep trying as you go so you dont make then hotter than they need to be.

but mattys idea of spraying wd40 on them a few times a day for a 3 or 4 days would be the best thing to try first.

Another solution might be to some how soak the parts in deisel making sure not to soak any rubberised bushes etc as it might eat them might affect paint etc too if that dont work.
get a household kettle in the bathroom on an extension lead with your c spanner and the hammer, close all your windows door as much as possible then prepare for a sauner lol put the kettle on boil with the top off making sure its not to full and youve covered the leads well with towels so moisture doesnt get in it should keep on boiling constantly producing steam and making the air really hot this is so you wont lose temperate in the next step alternatively safely use a blow heater etc its entirely up to you just dont kill yourself alright lol.

Then fill your bath with boiling hot water and submerge the whole leg in it for a while then pull it out and quickly use your spanner hopefully as it cools down the temperature variances should brake the seal at some point just remerber to use gloves lol.

worth a shot mate saves using a blow torch, oxy etc ive used this technique a load of times with my bike stuff side casings and the like and works well so give it a go might work

hope it helps you out
cheers gal
