MIWV Holland 13th July 08.....

Subject: MIWV Holland 13th July 08..... Mon Feb 18 2008, 19:15

Anyone up for this? Me and ED on here were thinking of going this year. Its in the middle of July this year so hopefully should get some decent weather! You can catch a ferry from Harwich which takes you straight to Holland or you could drive through France if your up for a proper road trip!! Show is on a sunday so our plan was to just have a long weekend in holland.

By the way Ed I know quite a few good coffeshops in Leiden stayed there for a week couple of years ago Wink

Yeah been wanting to go to this since last year, but ive jus not got my arse in gear to sort it out, lol

is there much more involved than just booking a hotel for the nights u wanna stay, drivin up there and goin to the show sunday mornin?

im also up for coming, did have a word with dad about it, as he done the trip a couple of times a few years ago on his harley. will get him to have a word with you matt on sunday as he was telling me a better way to get down there than what we had talked about the other day.

For those who are thinking of coming you can either get a ferry from

harwich - den haag

Dover - Dunkerque (www.norfolkline.com)

We are booked on the the dunkerque crossing. I think it was £18 each way when we booked. From there it is 190 mile drive to Leiden.

Hotel in Leiden is the Holiday inn. It seems as if everyone is stasying there so check if they still have rooms...

wot date and time are you crossing to dunkerque?

was thinkin of crossing over on the friday evening and spending the night in france, then traveling up saturday and staying in leiden sta night and goin to show sunday mornin obviously.

Our Ferry is friday morning at 4am!! Were were just gonna drive all morning and arrive in Leiden early friday afternoon. We are staying at the holiday inn on friday saturday and sunday. Then staying 3 days in Amsterdam returning on the 17th. I seriously cant wait now.

@ matty i think there are quite a few ppl on edition38 stayin in france for the night then driving up. We will probly give that a miss we just want to get there asap!!
