| Just wondering what peoples thoughts are on milage, does the milage on a car put you off? are there more things inportant to you than milage? For me i prefer less milage on cars although wouldnt totally be put off if the car had a sevice history etc with it, when i bought my mk3 cabriolet last year it had 90k on it with a full service history, and one lady owner from new. since then i have done 22k in it and backed up the service history although was thinking about selling it because of the milage. Anyway your views are welcome! |

| | im not too bothered about milage. my mk2 hgolf has done 188000 and is still running like a dream. most vw will run for ages so you dont really need to worry bout the milage on them. |

| mileage does not really bother me as its usually cheaper/easier to replace most engines than it is to sort out a rotten car or car with ropey bodywork hence why i bought my Corrado on 172k and its now on 192k !! (although the head gasket has just gone )

| Oh no! Sorry to hear that Martin
As long as a car has been maintained well and parts replaced when they should have been (like cambelt, waterpump, etc) then the mileage doesn't really bother me. _________________

| i agree with diva. aslong as they have been looked after and there is proof of that im not really bothered. and swapping an engine is gonna be easier then putting in new arches sills etc.
