| Alright guys/gals
thought it about time i started a thread on the cabby,
so basically bought the car off a guy called Lee from hull, who did most of the work (even if it wasnt to a very high standard), lol
couple pics of how lee had it last year and when the engine conversion was first done,

and with carbs fitted

Lee then fitted chrome side stripes handles and filler cap and BBS RSs

and full retrim including porsche tombstone seats,

and that is how i bought the car minus the RSs,
Went to show in stanstead in it and had a great day, untill on the trip home, it over heated in cambridge and blew a hose rather spectacularly.

had major problems as a result of this, but a m8 of mine johnny haycock sorted it out for and its running better than it ever has.
then 1 weekend round sparrows thought would try his wheels on to see wot i could get away with on it,

so after that the hunt was on for some tasty rimmage for her, and after hunting high and low for couple of months these came up on ebay and i just had to have them.

after a 6 hour round trip to near wolverhampton they were mine and i jus had time to get them on for the monthly cambs meet

So thats as she stands now. its been a turbulant few months but when shes on song and the weathers good it all seems worth it and puts the biggest smile on my face
P.S. sorry for the monsta post, lol

| | Looks so sweet in the flesh. As Ed said this is probably one of the nicest cars on here. Any plans for the future or are you happy with it now? |
