| Small update...pics to follow in the coming weeks.
After a few runs down the strip at Big Bang...i decided it was engine swap time cus i wanna go faster So thanks to Charlie i have a plan...
The Jetta now has a nice 1.8 8v engine sat in the garage in partial strip down ready to go in in the next few weeks, after a bit of a clean and some new parts.
and i will be ordering a nice stainless 4 into 1 manifold in the next day or 2 _________________

| Dude how did you get on? Was out most of Sunday so you would have missed me if you knocked?
I changed the clocks on Sun morning and did hear some zorst burble from your side of the fence, couldn't see anything though
Oh and apologies for lurking around loads on Saturday, was finding it fairly interesting watching you guys work it out. Maybe I'll actually lend a hand next time
Peace! |

we got on well cheers buddy got it running and had the first drive with the engine in...was overfuelling like a barsteward though. Gonna have a go at sorting the fuelling tonight.
No worries about lurking..that's one of the ways to learn
Should hopefully be running enough to give it some testing this week... _________________

| Well a rather successful weekend at Action for the Jetta
PB time of 16.64 @ 80mph. I can feel a few more mods coming along for this
And as for consistency how does 4 runs within 0.01 seconds of each other _________________
