take its an 8v? i have been in a standard one, and one with a mild newman cam, it makes it so much more lively as the standard cams are very very very very mild. worth the 150 quid i would say!

my old ibiza gti had the same agg engine i it and I managed a dyno proven 9bhp increase by fitting a golf mk2 gti camshaft!!! cost me a tenner!!
