yeha, it's just a series of roided up AMG's, this one is a twin turbo'd V12 pushing over 650bhp, but according to the guy from AMG we spoke to yesterday, it only shares the doors and wing mirrors with the standard SL, and obviously a few other things, but due the fixed roof, the majority is completely different. not bad for £215,000

i saw a bit but spent most of my time with the supercars and by the veuve clicquot bar.

i haven't been in a while, i think i last went to the Rolls Royce birthday one, but Porsche sent my bro some free tickets so i was definitely on board!

definitely glad i went, especially as there is no motor show this year.

pretty sure it wasn't a real one, but it wouldn't have surprised me! Audi had some pretty cool stuff but i was low on phone battery by then!

it's down in Goodwood, about a 3hr drive and tickets were £48 each this year for general admission, for one of the 3 days.

http://www.goodwood.co.uk/site/content/festivalofspeed/

it's well worth going to at least once, as it's such a different experience to a normal show imo.
