mk1 gti 1.8 8v, engine gearbox and loom. came out of a mates 'roco. was going in my caddy but want more power now. i was going to run it on carbs so all the injection parts are in a few pieces now but comes with then deal. £100 takes all ono

if you get no joy selling the lot, would you be able to sell me the gearbox? (assuming t would work on a 91 mk2 16v anyway)

its a 8v gear box wont fit 16v

reallyy? i was told the 16vs were different to 8vs, fook knows, watercooled parts are to confusing for my pea brain

8v boxes fit you just need to use an 8v clutch. 16v gearboxes have more splines on the input shaft of the box and 8vs have less so you need the matching friction plate, the pressure plate is the same(well 16v is stronger)

also can supply a set of twin 40 dellortos for £100 geek
