I average about 28-30mpg. And when on 3 cylinders about 15mpg. The 'constant' mpg reading is quite scary though! switch that on and give it a boot full then it sometimes might go down to 10 The tax isn't too much but thats because its old enough to miss out on the newer tax bands.. as for insurance

Gave the ol' girl a clean today, my camera seems to be playing up at the minute though isnt focusing as well as it used to Also laminex'd my front fogs.. havent quite grown on me yet but its an easy enough job to take off if i dont like. Audi rings have been painted black for a while now but never botherd to take a photo till today. oh well don't like to bore anyone too much! i know i'd much rather read about some mk1/2 golf or caddy project than a fairly bog standard rep-mobile And yes.. it needs lows badly but i am saving some pennies and it will be milltek or coil-overs next.

It was staying standard but it might still stay that way, depends how well i can save/how much i can earn! Also spotted this while polishing it had never noticed it untill then Looks like rust, feels like rust, can only really be rust I thought these things were galvanised bodies?? Looks like it would stick out a mile in the pic but in reality you wouldnt see it unless like i did you was going over every inch of the car with polish. Its on the NS edge of the roof incase anyone couldnt make out where it is.
