no worries dude, it's just a shame that you didn't call a few days ago. We had to cancel an appointment there on tuesday as the van was too tall to get in his unit.

you'll walk it dude, no probs. I'm hoping there won't be too much wrong, but I'd much rather they spot it on monday rather than getting denied at bugjam I'll be leaving as early as I can on thursday morning, to try and get a nice spot have you got your cowboys and indians costume sorted yet?

went really well thanks dude!! the cage is fine and the couple of small bits he did point out were really simple jobs, I'm proper chuffed with that. I think it should run pretty much the same as the golf did really, so high 12s off gas, and on gas with a spot of luck it'll hit 11s. Depends how silly I get with the bottle I think. what do you think you'll be getting down to?

I did the cage myself, it's my first one:D should be doing Caddymans next, he's thinking of running in the VWDRC next year as well maybe. what kind of 60fts do you get? and what do you cross the line at with your old setup?

May have to have a chat with you at Bug Jam then about cages I'm sure Rich Jones would be interested too for a good price get around 2.3 seconds for the 60ft and crossing the line between 82 and 85mph. _________________ Car transport available

sounds good, cages are fun to do I think you need to get off the line quicker, my lardy arse audi is pretty similar 60fts and terminal speeds, I ran a 16.2 in that. Your car is soooooo much lighter than mine you just don't have then inertia to over come. You should be able to bring the 60fts down relatively easily, and as a rule of thumb 0.1 at the start is worth 0.3 at the top. do you know how much your car weighs and how much power you are expecting to get?
