no worries dude, it's just a shame that you didn't call a few days ago. We had to cancel an appointment there on tuesday as the van was too tall to get in his unit.

you think you're cutting it fine I've got a van to get working and mot'd before then, and I have to solve all the issues with the jetta that the MSA inspector finds on monday.Cry AND get the jetta wiring so it can actually reach all the plugs/sockets it needs to. It'll all be good, I assume you're going up thursday too.

you'll walk it dude, no probs.

I'm hoping there won't be too much wrong, but I'd much rather they spot it on monday rather than getting denied at bugjam Cry Cry

I'll be leaving as early as I can on thursday morning, to try and get a nice spot Cool have you got your cowboys and indians costume sorted yet?

PostSubject: Re: Thanks Guys   Mon Jul 06 2009, 19:49

went really well thanks dude!! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy the cage is fine and the couple of small bits he did point out were really simple jobs, I'm proper chuffed with that.

I think it should run pretty much the same as the golf did really, so high 12s off gas, and on gas with a spot of luck it'll hit 11s. Depends how silly I get with the bottle I think.Cool Cool

what do you think you'll be getting down to?

what kind of 60fts do you get? and what do you cross the line at with your old setup?

May have to have a chat with you at Bug Jam then about cages Smile I'm sure Rich Jones would be interested too for a good price Smile

get around 2.3 seconds for the 60ft and crossing the line between 82 and 85mph.

sounds good, cages are fun to do Very Happy

I think you need to get off the line quicker, my lardy arse audi is pretty similar 60fts and terminal speeds, I ran a 16.2 in that. Your car is soooooo much lighter than mine you just don't have then inertia to over come. You should be able to bring the 60fts down relatively easily, and as a rule of thumb 0.1 at the start is worth 0.3 at the top.

do you know how much your car weighs and how much power you are expecting to get?
