Hi I have a 1999 8L Audi A3 Quattro 1.8 20VT AJQ Engine and I have got the following vagcom fault codes and I get the following error intermittently when my car is accelerating the boost goes up to 25psi and the engine cuts out and the engine warning light comes on do you know what the manifold boost pressure sensor is and looks like.

16622 - Manifold Pressure / Boost Sensor (G31): Signal too High

16490 - Shareware Version. To Decode all DTCs
P0106 - 35-00 - Please Register/Activate
17743 - Shareware Version. To Decode all DTCs
P1335 - 35-10 - Please Register/Activate - Intermittent
16487 - Mass Air Flow Sensor (G70): Signal too High
P0103 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
17978 - Shareware Version. To Decode all DTCs
P1570 - 35-10 - Please Register/Activate - Intermittent

just a quick one mate, ive had a similar problem with a leon after it had been mapped, it would go into limp home mode after a good thrash and through fault codes up

has this happened since its been mapped 1st off?

It started to happen a couple of months after i had it mapped, i have been told that it could be a boost pipe with a small crack or split in it so i am gonna check those.
