| Hi mik just wonderd is it worth putting a dump valve on a 1.8 20vt do u get any power gains? |

| no power gains really just stronger than than the OE one, you ideally want a recirc one rather than a atmospheric one as they can cause issues with the management. |

| your best to change it Phil the OE ones are poop for the seals inside as said recirc ones are better as most use a carbon or plastic diaphram unlike the rubber of the OE. Hope this helps. FYI the bailey dv36 i believe is the one to go for or the other option is a forge 007  |

| u could run a 36, would be louder too, but would want some good bhp i think to make it sound decent, 26 will be all gravy on a standard engine i think |

| Um dv26 & 36 are atmos ones which aint alot of kop for the 20vt if you want bailey then you need a DV30 full recirc or as lupton said a forge 007p. |
