just bought a mk3, solid motor Not as quick as my vRS. But then that did have 230bhp...

you buddy are spot on! you no your stuff. the 8v is much more reliable makes more lower down torque than a 16v and doesnt suffer from sump oil strainer blockage hence the noisey top end on most 16vs bein starved of oil. worked at vindis st.ives for 5years as a tech so i no my sh1t
