Hello everyone Smile

My friends (waz1176) recommended this site so I thought I'd come on over and take a look, well I liked what I saw and decided to join Very Happy

I am married with 3 children (who are as equally vw-mad as me and my husband) and live in a micro village just outside St Neots.

We own a 1964 Splitscreen Deluxe Van and a mk1 golf cabriolet... up until Sunday, I used to drive a 1959 rat-bug daily, but he went to a new home in London Neutral

So that's us... hope to get along to a few meets soon - we're hitting most of the shows this year, like volksworld, stanford hall, bug-jam, action, etc.

my mate tony just has his '61 split featured in VW camper and bus this month. proper mint it is.

got a lot of time for the bug as well.
a guy non my course at uni has two, im trying to get him to give one to me!!! haha

have seen you around a fair bit! flashed you a couple of times i think.....with my headlights of course. and other means of flashing would be rude....

Hi, and thanks, we love the bus to bits... it's always getting attention Very Happy

, even from the usually miserable old gits around here lol. The bug is no longer around here, he's gone to live in London... there's 2 red and 1 black golf that I flash/wave at... I am slowly converting the locals to flash/wave at me Laughing

When we first moved here no-one did it, but having me waving/flashing at them every morning soon did the trick lol

There's 3 white cabs around at the moment... mine, a B-reg one with a red trim on the grill (always been around, but I never seem to see it when I'm driving the cab Rolling Eyes

) and a G-reg one has appeared around Eynesbury in the past week.

Hey dub-diva absolutely lovin the splitty van, I'd love one to pieces (which it would probably start off in or end up in depending on this crappy weather!)

Get some nice BBS or Ronals on the Golf, would look reet smart Cool

I am lusting after some Ronal Turbo's but the bank balance says noooooo lol until then it'll either stay on the venoms pale

or be put on the steelies I just picked up from Waz once they've been powdercoated black.
