new insurance

i have currently got insurance through hic on my golf, i am selling the golf this week hopefully and getting a new car, i think the insurance i have got at the moment is classic car insurance so will not be able to transfer it over as the car i am getting is 1997 i think.

could anything be done with this as i dont want to lose the 8 months towards the years no claims,

the new car is a vw golf 1997 advantgarde cabriolet,

the classic policy you are on will only covers cars up to a 1993 so if you do get the cab you will need to cancel, and start a new policy thus looseing the 8 months so far unfortunatly

cool man, glad to hear it, i take it the=at being an "L" your new VR was old enough to go on your existing policy? How much did it compare to swap over compared with the g60 quote we got for ya?

it was cheaper to swap to the vr than it was to swap to the g60 by £3!

yeah just managed the l reg vr!!!!
