When i try to shift from 1st to 2nd it jams up sometimes
and last it also jams up when i try to put it in reverse.

It sounds worth it if it is compatible, because mines actually dying, he wants £60 and it's had new pistons, head gasket and bottem end rebuilt. Also means I can use it for experience if i ever want to do a conversion in the future

I am looking at fitting an electronic speedo into the Jetta...only issue i have is that it is easiest to fit with an electronic speedo sensor...does anyone know if there is a VW sensor which will fit in a mk 1 golf Gti gearbox???

I'm going make sure there is as little heatsoak possible and make a custom air scoop/inlet to supply cold air. I've been searching for info but not had much luck. If anybody can shed any light on what i need for the conversion and any hints,tips and pics of the conversion it ... it will definately be a 90 spec but might not be a gti,
