basically 1.8 kr lightened &amp; balanced , polished and ported with twin dellorto's 45s















its got a polished alloy rollcage,bucket seats &amp; harnesses.exterior is basically old skool.its on weitec coilies,g60 brakes. i'm on the second engine rebuild as i got timing wrong   but getting sorted, should be on road soon. </description>

The farmer that had it before Chris needs shooting, the carpets were nailed in alone the seals !!......the weld plate that holds the accelerator lets in water and it has the biggest hole under the passenger seat, not to mention the expanding foam in the windscreen pillar...!

			<description>Had a bit of a water pump/ dashboard/ Head gasket problem in my beloved Mk1 Cabby on Saturday night!!! 

Still every clowd has a silver lining &amp; it just so happened that 'Breadvanman' was part way through his 2.0 16v Engine conversion on his Bready when we realised that without a major overhaul of the bay, there was no way that engine was gonna fit in his car!!!   Lucky me!!!  



So needless to say i've now got a bit of a project on the go!!!

Still got my mk4 polo for running round when the golf has bad days



Its a standard 2.0 GTI 8v in Black with hella headlights and did have tinted windows all round with smoked chrome alloy wheels (to quote my father &quot;It's a Drug Dealer's Car&quot; Thanks Dad)



There were many problems with the car at first.

Now it has a 1300 gt engine from a mk3 with yamaha r6 carbs on it.

It will be finished someday when other things dont get in the way.

engine is the original engine but i have just rebuilt it and is now a 1641cc with twin choke webber.



it is lowered 2 notches at the rear and has a adjustable 4'' narrowed beam up front.

plans are to go lower as im not happy about seeing daylight under the car!
