Today he lifted the immobiliser on my ECU that I am going to plop into the mk1, this negates the need for key,clocks etc that you need for a conversion. He also remapped it while he was there. They seem expensive to me but if they are as good as they try to make out they are then i guess worth it. A cat back system for the audi is a little over 500 notes for a non resonated and add on about 50 ish quid for a resonated. Obviously the cheaper non resonated is favourite or is resonated better? The revs are still erratic. Feels like the choke is sticking on. Drove her 20 miles today and it as still idling at 2K. But it doesnt splutter or hold back when you are on the open road.

The car seems to be running fine, but obviously one of the sensors knows there's a problem. Anyone know somebody local to Cambridge that could do a VAGCOM diagnostic for a bit of cash for me? Not too much mind. Otherwise I've gotta fork out £45 just for my local garage to do it. Then there's labour costs on top if its something serious.
