| my water pump seems to be leaking on my 1.4 golf mk3 can anyone replace this for me as i wont touch the timeing belt .. just dont want to spend too much getting it done but it needs doing asap _________________  |

| its just i dare not do it as the timming belt goes round it and dont want mess that up as it will be expensive to replace broken valves lol im in Peterborough and how much whould u charge me for you doing it _________________  |

| does the timing belt go round it? i didnt think they did...i know they havnt on any of my mk2's and 3's _________________  |

| Give tinklers a call, they not far from boro. Whilst replacing the pump, it be a good idea to change the cambelt at the same time. You'll be paying twice for roughly the same amount of work if you leave the belt til later. _________________  Paintwork Restorer and odd job man!. PM me with enquiries |

| must say i thought mk 3 water pumps was driven by fan belt not cam belt!!!! may be wrong... |

| "big block" ones are driven off the "fan" belt "small block" ones are driven by the cambelt _________________  |
