Hi guys.... im in need of a new/used engine im not a mech so if i miss any details that might be helpful lemme know....

i was quoted about 6k from a dub "specialist" for a brand-spanking new one from VW..... which is a slight bit more than i was looking to spend!!
from what the engineer said when he checked it, is that the pistons were
over injecting and overtime it corroded away the pistons.... then went pop.....
really wanna get the car moving again as its been sitting for a while....

if anyone knows of a good place to get this done, or is willing to help out or do it privately for me that would be great
