| Hi, any help appreciated. My golf gti mk1 cabby has a flashing low pressure oil light. I have changed the sender unit and it still flashes. Had a compression test done and all ok. Does anyone know somewhere/someone who is good with VW auto electrics please? Need to get this sorted, just incase the engine is going to seize
Cheers

| Oil pressure is fine, thank goodness! Now I need a new set of clocks! Cheaper than an oil pump . |

| I've had this problem on mine. Mine has an oil pressure gauge in it, so I knew that wasn't the problem. I changed the clocks over last night, problem solved. As for for MOT's I'm not 100% sure, but I would have thought that if you had someway of proving that the clocks had been changed for a genuine reason, with a record of the mileage on both clocks, then wouldn't that be ok? _________________ Keepin' it gang-star.....brrrrrap!

| There should be no problems changing your clocks...just take pictures of the new and old clocks side by side wih a date on the pictures, and then one of each set of clocks...just keep these for your records. _________________
