am i missing something..??.....should the middle relay be like this..??.........it's on a mk1 caddy

I'm 100% certain there should be a cover on that relay. Infact it looks like there isnt anything left from the relay besides the base! all the operation coil etc is missing Shocked

I am sure someone with more caddy knowledge will tell you what that relay is for but could be a reason as to why

and by the way, that broken one is for your front wiper interval, the 0ne with "21" stamped on is the hazards.

i have a complete fuse box with all relays in it, where is the caddy. i can pop by and we could swap a few relays to isolate the problem.

i don't realy wanna get rid of it tho, cos i know it all works and my on golf is having isues of it's own.

but you can use it to help you out

the caddy is in haverhill and TBH the fuses are the least of my worries at the mo, the rot in the floor and sills is what im working on ....lol.....the battery is foo barred so it doesnt run anyway......might take you up on offer at later date tho

ah cool.whats the scuttle like. it looks like your fuse box has had water dripping on it!

my windows are open by a couple of cm's and i have no winders to close them, looks like previos owner used pliers and mangled some of the teeth flat on the spigot thingy.
