Hi all, I'm thinking about changing clocks in my mkII golf, but... I'm not sure what about cables as I want to change those with one connection like this (21 cables) into those with two connections like those (11 cables on white plug and 8 on black one) I was trying to find some wiring diagrams on the web, but with not much success... so if anyone has some diagrams which could help - this would be much appreciated cheers, luke

thanks for reply, caddyrage first clocks (with one socket) are the ones installed when I bought my car, but rev and mfa usually don't work.. it was only few times when anything appeared on rev or mfa I bought the other ones (with two sockets) few days ago, they're from mk2 1.8 16v, but should fit ok to my 8v; problem is the wires... how should I connect them

im not sure on the wiring side of things, if you got a haynes manual im sure it would have the wiring diagrams for both in and you could mark out which does which and repin the plugs etc. Shouldnt have to change senders as they are all VDO stuff i think and they will all work together. How come your changing to the 2 pin plugs then? _________________

In theory though the wires should all match up to the replacement clocks though shouldn't they? I think there are two wires that don't match up...will try and find a wiring diagram for him. _________________ Car transport available
