Hey people, i joined the site about a week ago so i thought it was about time i started a new topic. Iv got a mk 4 polo, and want to lower it in the next few weeks, i was thinking about doing it 60 on the front and 60 on the back??? What is everyones opinion? I didnt want to go toooo low, but then want to do it enough so it looks good.

hi whats your budget? if you read other threads on here you'll relise that everyone is going to tell you to get height adjustable coilovers. with these you can go as high or as low as you want (within reason) but they are generally the most expensive option when comparing them with lowering springs or lowering springs and shocks...unless you find a bargain. on ebay you might be able to get a set of new coilovers for bout £200 (you can at least for a mk2 golf not sure about polo's ) _________________ UMMMM???? that bit must just be a spare part

Hi thanks for the comment... Well if im honest, my budget doesnt stretch to the coilovers so i think springs will have to do! Coilovers sound good but i just cant afford to spend that much at the moment! Thanks for the info tho Its a standard mk4... so thats why i wondered how much to slam it by....?

doesnt have to be from a vw site. just pay attention to exactly what you are buying. some components may be different on other models and engine sizes so its always good to get parts that are designed for your model if at all possible try ebay. _________________ UMMMM???? that bit must just be a spare part
