this is my daily ride it is a 1995 golf cabriolet 1.8 (non gti), it is soon to be lowered with a diff backbox as soon as money allows, was a good buy last year, 1 lady owner FVWSH bar 1 stamp all receipts etc, its been the only golf ive had (out of 3 mk3s) that doesnt use or lose oil!it went straight through the mot without any advisorys!Am looking for a new set of rims also as the ones on the car are chav so welcome to suggestions but they cant be expensive lol

damn rite, i must admit ures has changed alot since u git it all for the better, mark sed u went to telford for the rims, they look awesome, how much is it lowered?

its only lowered 60mm all round on shock and spring kit, contemplating coilies for it though.

it does look low.im decided wether coillies would be worth it on the cabrio want a 70-80 drop on front and 50-60 on back ideally but dont wanna do any arch work lol so mayb a 60/40 spring and shock kit.i wanna change the rims to a 16inch realy could go 15s but need to be low for that stance i want lol

Tbh m8, id never spend my own money on a shock and spring kit, cuz most dont lower as much at they say they will and coilies are jus so much better for getting the exact ride hide u want, and u can pick them up cheap enough from ebay or forum classifieds

yeh i can get a set for £200 of ebay probally best thing to do can change ride height with a c spanner when i get new rims too wheneva dat will be lol
