What colour?

Ok so soon i will be at the stage of painting my 72 bug, the question is, what colour?

initially i thought rat black. I'v moved away from that idea though.

Now im thinking maby this colour?

Agree with tiz! Satin blue ftw.

Theres an additive you can by from any bodyshop suplyer which will make any paint matt or satin.

Ok, let's get serious now... lol

Personally I love this colour - it's Bordeaux Red - a vw colour from the 1950's - the reference is L51



Also happens to be the same car that this lovely lady poses with...





We were going to do a full-on resto on our 1959 bug and paint it this colour - but the chance to buy Rhett's splitty back came up - and we couldn't refuse!

porsche sepia brown has always bin a fav of mine. same colour as the UPS mk3 golf?? the one with the porka 928chrome rims???
